Our Mission: Provide local HR education and resources. Central Valley SHRM is a 501(c)(6) non-profit, 100% volunteer organization, and Central Valley’s affiliate chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Founded in 1993, our mission is to serve the needs of local HR professionals.

I’m Nicki Garcia, and I’m honored to serve as your President this year. While our name has evolved from CVSHRM to CVSHRM, our mission is stronger than ever. We are proud to be back, aligned with SHRM, and rooted right here in the Central Valley—serving HR professionals who want relevant content, real connection, and meaningful opportunity.

Call for Speakers
We hold in-person events each month and are continuously seeking speakers to present to our local human resources membership.
